Great to meet you!

My life’s work has always been centered on helping others. For over 20 years as a therapist, drug and alcohol counselor, personal trainer, and health coach I have worked with almost every type of client in almost every setting. I specialize in anxiety, addictions, relationships, communication, depression, and career. I avoid labels and focus on values and character strengths and crafting your vision for your life.

My approach to therapy

At the core of my philosophy is a deeply held belief that my clients hold the answers. My role is to shine light, help to open doors and join my clients on their journey, not lead them on it. I draw from both evidence based modalities like REBT, DBT, EFT and others as well as incorporate wisdom from Buddhism, Stoicism, and more contemporary resources focusing on creating healthy habits. Exercise, meditation and breath work, healthy nutrition and time in nature are key elements in our work.

What you can expect from me

Every session will be about your journey of self discovery in pursuit of becoming the best version of yourself. To accomplish that, we will not only talk but we may meditate and do breath work, walk by the river, lift some weights, develop goals or listen to music. There is no one-size-fits-all strategy. You are unique and your experience will be as well.
