Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are motivated to better understand their personal values and how they influence satisfaction and meaning in life. I draw from my experience in the Marine Corps, as an outdoor educator and guide, as well as my own experiences of growing up in poverty.

My approach to therapy

I draw from Existential and Relational/Contemplative models of therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to aid in the exploration of values, purpose and meaning. I maintain an openness to a person's choices of how they live their lives and define their identity. To me it is of primary importance that the individual is happy with who they are and develop a deeper understanding of themselves through our process together.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will discuss what challenges brought you to seek support, goals for treatment and explore the functional aspect of the human experience as well as ways these functions can become inaccurate to our current circumstances. We will begin to develop the therapeutic relationship and build trust and comfort between us.
