Great to meet you!

I am an LCADC with years of experience helping adults navigate the intersection of substance use, mental health, and trauma. I bring a lifetime of personal experience and formal education to each session, offering a perspective that is both clinically rigorous and culturally sensitive. I specialize in working with the BIPOC community, providing a space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood as we work toward sustainable healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic and evidence-based. I believe that addiction is often a comorbid circumstance of deeper issues like low self-esteem or childhood trauma. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Behavioral Therapy to help you understand the connection between your thoughts and your nervous system. By prioritizing your needs and providing "Trauma-Informed Care," we create a roadmap for long-term recovery.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we slow things down to create a safe harbor. We will look at the big picture of your life—not just the immediate symptoms—to identify where you feel most stuck. You can expect a collaborative environment where we begin to set clear goals and identify the practical tools you need to move from "survival mode" into a journey of real, lasting healing.
