Great to meet you!

Tried therapy or couples counseling before and didn't quite help? Therapy helped before, but still struggling? My approach may be different! I see people seeking support for difficulties, including: imposter syndrome, self-esteem, boundaries, vulnerability, excessive guilt and shame, communication skills, difficulty asking for help or saying "no," and more. Reducing self-judgment will help you to make better decisions that are aligned with your core values. I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years and I also have extensive experience working with all students at high-pressured universities.

My approach to therapy

Do you find yourself replaying past mistakes or failures on repeat? Paralyzed by overthinking the future at times? With ACT, we will clarify what is most import to you, the kind of person you want to show up as even in the face of depression or anxiety. I additionally approach mental health from a multi-cultural, social justice orientation.

What you can expect from me

I practice from a goal-oriented approach, integrated seamlessly with a psychodynamic and attachment theory foundation. I bring in several other modalities as well, including neuroscience-based understanding of how what you are experiencing is normal, just your brain working too hard.
