Great to meet you!

My name is David and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has over five years of clinical experience. I received my degree specializing in Older Adults and End of Life issues. I have worked with various populations, but specialize in older adults and individuals dealing with mental health struggles. Some areas of focus in my work include, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, grief and loss, transitional struggles, and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach isn't limited to just one form of treatment, I like to pull from multiple different treatment styles, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Psychotherapy. I like to build a strong foundational relationship before getting into the "grit" of the work, building trust in the client-therapist relationship while working together to develop a treatment plan.

What you can expect from me

Initially we will focus on rapport building, I want to hear your story and what you think will help you! We are in a partnership to work on your mental health, and your treatment will be guided by what you feel comfortable with. We will develop goals that you can achieve and will succeed in doing if we put in the work. I have had clients say to me that they feel validated and heard in our meetings, and that is something I strive for in every client interaction.
