Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Dr. David Hobby and I'm a board-certified Marriage and Family Therapist. I attended CIIS and graduated from Sierra University. I specialize in trauma, relationship issues, and emotional processing and I'm happy to help you today with any of your healthcare concerns.

My approach to therapy

As a body-oriented therapist I assist clients in emotional regulation, mindfulness, and recovering from trauma. Through active listening and collaboration we decide goals and treatment plans that allow us to track progress made. Working with attachment issues is a process that a large part of the clientele I work with find beneficial.

What you can expect from me

At first we identify the issues that you find important to address. Then we map out goals and a treatment plan that identifies tools to use. Our sessions are a time for you to address any stressors that have arisen and to track how the tools are working. This is a collaborative process.
