I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, in private practice, providing mental health services in Spanish and English. I conduct individual, marriage/couple, and family therapy. Helping children 6 years old and up, pre-teens, teenagers, parents/guardians, and adults. I have 11 years of experience working as an educator. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling in 2006, worked as a school counselor for 4 years, started working as a clinical therapist in 2010, and received my Professional Counselor License (LPC) in 2012. I meet with clients Wednesdays -Saturdays 9 am – 7 pm.

• Marriage/couple’s counseling, fertility issues, family conflict, Blended families, Adoptive/ Foster/ “Grand” families

• School issues, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), bullying

• Depression, Grief, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Mood disorders, Anger management

• Disruptive behavior associated with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)/trauma

I believe my relationship to the client is very important to the therapeutic process. I will listen to you with positive regard, empathy, and without judgement. I will guide you to use your strengths and improve your skills. We'll work to solve problems in the present or to use acceptance and mindfulness. Sometimes we will explore how your past experiences, family of origin, and culture may be influencing your beliefs, values, behaviors and choices.
