David Loray

David Loray, MSN, APN, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioner committed to providing compassionate care to individuals and families struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. He earned his M.S.N. in Psychiatric Nursing from Monmouth University in May 2024. He is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse, Registered Nurse, and Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Throughout his career, he has served in a range of clinical roles, most recently at Rutgers University Behavioral Health in Newark, where he oversaw psychiatric care for both child and adult patients across school, group home, partial hospitalization, and ambulatory withdrawal settings. He also practiced at RWJ Barnabas Health System’s Rahway and Clara Maass Hospitals. His earlier roles include serving as a Mental Health Associate for RWJ Health System, Intensive Case Manager in Passaic County where he coordinated services for adults with complex needs, and Case Manager for Partnership for Children of Essex where he coordinated services for families and youth with complex needs.

He believes in patient-centered, trauma-informed care, advocates for access to quality mental health services, and empowers individuals and families through education and support. He values teamwork, continuous learning, and ethical practice in all aspects of his professional life.
