Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist, teaching and practicing psychotherapy with adults, children, and families, since 2007. I specialize in supporting clients with trauma, relationship, and parenting concerns, using evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Process. Additionally, I have special training in mindfulness and meditation and my therapeutic work draws upon the latest research in this area.

My approach to therapy

I believe each of us is striving to become healthier, happier, and more able to live fully, and our challenges (or “symptoms”) are expressions of this motivation toward growth.

Thus, my therapy is strength-based and individualized to you. I listen closely to your unique life situation and, together, we move forward in a way that supports your development.

I do my best to offer a supportive atmosphere in which you can access your innate wisdom, creativity, and humor and make positive life changes.

What you can expect from me

In therapy, I help clients with different areas of focus. Many people come to counseling hoping to feel or act differently in their lives. Some want to resolve conflicts in, or enrich, their relationships. Others wish to overcome past trauma or feel more empowered or alive.

I have experience and success helping people work through these and other concerns, informed by my training in evidence-based, personalized approaches.
