Great to meet you!

Life can bring moments when anxiety, depression, grief, or relationship challenges leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. You may be navigating family concerns, working through a loss, or trying to understand patterns that keep showing up in your relationships. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with four years of experience, I provide a supportive space where you can explore these challenges, feel heard, and work toward meaningful change. I earned my Master of Arts degree from Touro University Worldwide, and I strive to offer an affirming, empowering, and solution-oriented approach to therapy. I believe you have strengths and resources that can help you navigate difficult seasons, even when they’re hard to recognize. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a collaborative process where we build on your strengths, explore what’s getting in your way, and identify practical steps toward change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based Therapy to tailor our work to your needs and goals. CBT can help you recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another and develop healthier ways to respond to challenges. Motivational Interviewing provides space to explore your values, clarify what you want to change, and strengthen your confidence in taking the next steps. A strengths-based approach helps us identify the abilities, experiences, and resources you already possess and use them to support your growth. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, grief, family concerns, or relationship difficulties, I’ll meet you with empathy and respect. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you, recognize progress along the way, and develop strategies that feel realistic and meaningful in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore what you hope to accomplish. We’ll talk about the challenges you’re experiencing, what you’ve tried so far, and what you would like to see change. You don’t need to have all the answers before we begin. Together, we’ll identify initial goals and start developing a plan that reflects your needs, values, and priorities. As therapy continues, sessions may include exploring thought patterns, processing grief, understanding relationship dynamics, and practicing practical strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and everyday stress. We’ll work collaboratively, check in on your progress, and adjust our approach as needed. My aim is for you to feel comfortable being yourself, empowered to make choices that support your well-being, and supported as you work toward your goals. Change takes time, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
