Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I show up as a steady, compassionate, and practical therapist who believes people deserve support that feels human, respectful, and genuinely useful. I work from a trauma‐informed, strengths‐based lens, which means I pay close attention to your lived experience, your resilience, and the pace that feels right for you. I’m direct without being harsh, collaborative without being passive, and always focused on helping you build skills that make life feel more manageable and meaningful. I value clarity, honesty, and humor, and I’m comfortable sitting with the hard stuff while also helping you move toward what you want for yourself. My goal is for you to feel understood, supported, and empowered—not judged or rushed—as we work together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma‐informed, and centered on helping you create meaningful, sustainable change. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution‐Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and IFS‐informed work, integrating these approaches in a way that fits your needs rather than forcing a rigid model. I help you slow down your thoughts, understand the patterns shaping your emotions and behaviors, and build practical skills you can use in daily life. I move at a pace that feels safe and manageable, balancing directness with compassion, and always honoring your lived experience, strengths, and goals. Therapy with me is a partnership—grounded, honest, and focused on helping you feel more capable, connected, and aligned with the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel steady, welcoming, and focused on understanding what life looks like for them right now. I move at a pace that feels comfortable, starting with what brought them in, what they’ve been carrying, and what they hope will feel different. I explain how therapy works, answer questions, and check in about what helps them feel safe and supported. Together, we begin identifying early goals or priorities, but without pressure to have everything figured out. My role in that first meeting is to create a grounded, non‐judgmental space, start building rapport, and help clients feel understood, respected, and not alone as we begin the work.
