Great to meet you!

I graduated from San Diego State University's LMFT program in 2014. Due to my curiosity and thirst for knowledge, I've conducted counseling with a variety of people and in a variety of settings: crisis house, intensive outpatient program, school, medical office, a hospital and finally, private practice. While I haven't seen everything, my knowledge of mental health and human functioning is broad with a few key areas of depth and expertise.

My approach to therapy

I have a decade of experience working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I take an integrative approach, often weaving together EMDR, internal family systems, and acceptance and commitment therapy. My passion is helping clients heal old wounds, change their inner stories, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and meaning.

What you can expect from me

I work to help my clients balance self-compassion and kindness with growth and taking the difficult steps to change. We all have very good reasons for being where we are, and at the same time, the only way it'll change is if we do something different.
