Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m David, and I specialize in supporting clients who are navigating ADHD, grief, depression, sleep issues, and communication within families and relationships. Whether you're lying awake at night battling racing thoughts, struggling to stay focused at work or school, or feeling weighed down by loss and overwhelmed, you don’t have to face it alone. With over a decade of clinical experience—and three years conducting sleep research at NASA Ames—I bring both compassion and scientific insight into the therapy room.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is structured yet collaborative. Together, we work to uncover the deeper "whys" behind your patterns and behaviors, using evidence-based tools like CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness techniques. For clients with ADHD or anxiety, I offer concrete, actionable skills to create more balance and clarity in everyday life. Therapy with me is a judgment-free zone where healing and growth happen at your pace—with guidance that’s steady, supportive, and rooted in science.

What you can expect from our first session

Therapy with me is a grounded, nonjudgmental space where your experience is honored and your goals take center stage. Clients often tell me they start feeling clearer and more hopeful within the first few sessions. My style is approachable—designed to help you feel heard and empowered, not overwhelmed. You’re not just signing up for therapy; you’re choosing to invest in your growth, healing, and quality of life. And remember: getting started is often the hardest part—but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation because the right fit really matters. If after we meet you feel comfortable, heard, and a bit more hopeful, it’s a good sign we’re heading in the right direction.
