Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with over 20 years of experience supporting adults through life’s most challenging seasons. My background includes extensive work in behavioral health and addiction treatment, with a focus on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and judgment-free. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, exhausted, anxious, discouraged, or unsure of how to move forward. My goal is to help you better understand what you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and build healthier tools to manage life with more confidence and stability.

I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, honest, and goal-oriented. I view therapy as a partnership where you bring your experiences, challenges, and goals, and I help guide the process with support, insight, and practical strategies.

I believe open communication is essential to successful therapy. Together, we will explore what is not working, identify what you want to change, and create realistic steps to help you move forward. I work to meet each client where they are, while also helping them build insight, accountability, coping skills, and confidence.

Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction-related concerns, relationship stress, or major life changes, my goal is to help you feel supported while making progress toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental conversation focused on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We will talk about what you have been experiencing, what feels most difficult right now, and what you hope to gain from counseling.

You do not need to have everything figured out before

starting. The first session is simply a chance for you to share your story at your own pace, ask questions, and begin building a plan that feels realistic and helpful.

From there, we will work together to identify your goals and take clear, manageable steps toward healing, growth, and positive change.
