Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago. I work primarily with adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship stress, and major life transitions. Many of the clients I support feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted and are looking for meaningful, lasting change.

I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach that helps process difficult experiences that continue to impact emotional well-being, relationships, and the nervous system. My work focuses on helping clients feel more grounded, develop healthier coping patterns, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I also offer services in both English and Spanish and value cultural sensitivity in the therapeutic process.

My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, better equipped to handle life’s challenges, and confident in your ability to create change.

My approach to therapy

I work in a collaborative, supportive, and client-centered way. My style is warm and calm, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and respected. I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels comfortable, always guided by their goals and readiness for change.

I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and EMDR, helping clients process experiences that continue to affect their emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of safety. I focus not only on understanding symptoms, but also on addressing the underlying patterns that keep clients feeling stuck.

Together, we work toward building insight, emotional balance, and practical coping skills that support long-term healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on creating a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. We’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you’re hoping to change. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and help organize what may feel overwhelming right now.

My goal for the first session is to build trust, establish a clear direction for our work together, and ensure you feel safe and supported. You can expect a calm, non-judgmental environment and to leave the session with a clearer sense of next steps and confidence in the process moving forward.
