Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. During the first decade of my career, I worked extensively with children, adolescents, couples, families, and individual adults, which gave me a strong foundation across all stages of life. Today, my practice is primarily focused on adolescents and adults, including individuals navigating the complexities of aging parents and families in transition. I also have experience working with military families and understand the unique stressors they may face. I believe counseling works best when it is collaborative, practical, and grounded in genuine connection. Outside of my work, I enjoy mountain biking, gardening, and carpentry, which help me stay balanced and grounded.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is flexible and tailored to each person’s unique needs and where they are emotionally and physically. I view therapy as a collaborative process, creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and respectfully challenged as you work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you’ll have the opportunity to share what’s bringing you to counseling and the concerns you’re facing right now. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your history, your current situation, and what feels most important to you. Together, we’ll begin developing a plan that feels supportive, practical, and aligned with your goals. The first session is also a time for you to ask questions and learn more about the counseling process, so you can feel comfortable and informed as we move forward.
