Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm David, a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a passion for helping people feel seen, heard, and empowered. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Claflin University and my master’s in Counseling from Webster University. For over four years, I’ve had the privilege of working in private practice with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and discover new paths forward.

My approach is supportive, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe that therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be your full self—whether you're unpacking past pain, working through relationship struggles, or simply trying to manage the everyday stress of life. I bring an eclectic mix of tools to our work together, and I value honesty, humor, and genuine connection in the therapeutic process.

If you’re ready to take that next step, I’m here to walk with you.

My approach to therapy

I blend techniques from different modalities to meet you where you are, always with an open mind and a sense of humor. My style is warm but direct—I believe in honest conversations that help you grow, heal, and move forward with clarity. Whether you're navigating life transitions, relationships, or past pain, I’m here to support you in becoming your most authentic self.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions together, you can expect a safe and supportive space where your story matters. My goal is to help you heal your heart, connect with your authentic self, and feel empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence. You don’t have to go through it alone—this is your space to be seen, heard, and supported.
