Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and bilingual Spanish-speaking professional with over 23 years of experience supporting children, families, and the LGBTQ+ community. I provide services in English and Español, creating a warm, safe, and welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I work with children and families, LGBTQ+ individuals, foster and adoptive families, couples, survivors of violence, and individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, and emotional challenges. My clinical experience includes supporting clients through life transitions, emotional challenges, and difficult experiences while helping them move toward positive change. I look forward to building a trusting relationship with each client and supporting them on their individual journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I collaborate with each client to identify their goals and build practical skills that support meaningful and lasting change. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Focused CBT, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs, experiences, and strengths.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment. We’ll take time to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals and concerns, and begin identifying areas where you would like support. I’ll answer any questions you may have about the therapy process and work collaboratively with you to develop a plan that feels comfortable and appropriate for your needs. Most importantly, you can expect to be heard, respected, and supported.
