Great to meet you!

Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or like you’ve been carrying too much for too long? You don’t have to navigate it all on your own. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel truly heard, and begin making sense of what you’re experiencing.

I work with clients who are ready to feel better, build confidence, heal from difficult experiences, and create meaningful changes in their lives, even when they’re not quite sure where to begin. Together, we’ll explore what may be keeping you feeling stuck, recognize the strengths you already have, and develop practical ways to help you move forward.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Come as you are, and we’ll take the next step together.

My approach to therapy

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially when you’re already feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted. I’m Davika “Davi” Ghooray, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and my goal is to make therapy feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and begin moving forward.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, trauma, and other challenges that can make everyday life feel difficult. My approach is personalized to you and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and trauma informed practices, including yoga and meditation.

Together, we’ll work on understanding what you’re experiencing, developing practical tools to manage difficult emotions and situations, and building on the strengths you already have. You don’t have to navigate everything alone, we’ll work together toward greater balance, resilience, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

You can expect therapy with me to feel supportive, collaborative, and personalized to what you need. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable talking openly, exploring difficult emotions, and gaining a better understanding of yourself without feeling judged.

Together, we’ll look at the connection between your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and behaviors while developing healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges. I incorporate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and holistic practices to help you manage difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, build confidence, and create more balance in your everyday life.

Therapy isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about helping you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and develop the tools you need to feel more confident moving forward. We’ll work together toward meaningful changes that support both your emotional well being and the life you want to create.
