Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Da’Vonya Wilson, a Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC). I have experience caring for clients inpatient, outpatient, and individuals requiring consult.

I am passionate about helping clients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their mental health journey. I provide compassionate, client-centered care in a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly discuss their concerns and goals.

My practice focuses on comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive care. I work with individuals experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, chronic psychotic disorders, substance abuse, perinatal mental health disorders, trauma-related symptoms, stress, and other mental health challenges. I take a holistic and collaborative approach, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and life circumstances.

I believe meaningful care begins with trust and connection, and I am committed to helping clients move toward greater balance, healing, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is rooted in empathy, respect, and partnership. I want clients to feel safe, seen, and supported from the very beginning. I take time to understand each person’s story, concerns, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that feels realistic and meaningful. I believe in caring for the whole person and helping clients move toward improved mental wellness with compassion and practical support.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to be a supportive, judgment-free space where we begin getting to know each other. During this initial appointment, I will gather information about your current concerns, mental health history, symptoms, stressors, medical background, and treatment goals. We will talk about what has been working, what has not, and what you hope to gain from treatment.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you are looking for in a provider. Together, we will begin building a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and referrals when appropriate. My goal is to help you feel heard, respected, and comfortable as we begin working together
