I am a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field providing individual, group, and family counseling and therapy to children, teens and adults, as well as training and supervising therapists and interns. I have practiced in a variety of settings including hospitals, residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics, and schools.
I see my role in the therapeutic process as that of partner and facilitator. I strive to create a warm safe space within which clients can reflect on past experiences, uncover and develop existing strengths and learn new coping skills and strategies allowing them to attain a greater sense of well-being and effectiveness in their lives.
In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, and begin building a safe, supportive space for growth. I'll listen with care, ask thoughtful questions and together we'll identify goals and an initial plan for how to achieve them.
