Great to meet you!

As a mental health counselor, I work with my clients in a collaborative manner to help them build skills to better cope with life's stressors. Since graduating with my master's degree, I have worked with a variety of people from ages 13 to 75. My background is working in a small town for a non-profit agency. I am moving to private practice due to the agency closing. If you are looking for a place to work through a life change, learning skills to reduce anxiety or depression, or help in processing past events, Please reach out.

My approach to therapy

I use a person centered focus in therapy which relies on helping people to recognize their strengths along with building helpful coping skills while processing past events. I am trained in CAMs-care and in ACT. I am an LGBTQ+ ally

Being able to help others grow and develop new skills is a privilege that I enjoy. While my practice is currently telehealth only, I anticipate having the ability to see people in person starting in May.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting we will work on building rapport. I understand the need for people to learn about each other before someone is comfortable opening up about what brings them to therapy.
