Dawn Conroy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. I have over ten years of experience as a therapist and have worked in various settings including outpatient, private practice, intensive in-community (IIC), as well as residential treatment. I specialize in working with female adolescents with extensive trauma histories and adults of all ages who are looking to improve their overall wellbeing and quality of life.

I have a very easy-going approach to working with clients. I focus first on building a strong relationship in order to build trust and move forward with the therapeutic process. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients cope with their specific challenges.

In the initial session I like to gather information about the client and learn more about who they are and their specific goals for therapy.
