Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and families navigate anxiety, behavioral challenges, emotional outbursts, school stress, low self-esteem, social difficulties, and major life transitions. I understand that when a child is struggling, the whole family can feel the impact. My goal is to provide support not only for your child, but for you as a parent as well.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to each child or teen’s developmental needs. I use evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, and family-centered support to help clients manage emotions, improve communication, and create lasting change.

I also partner with parents and caregivers when appropriate, recognizing that family support is an important part of a child’s growth and healing. My goal is to help children and teens feel more empowered, resilient, and successful at home, in school, and in relationships.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and your child and understanding what brings you to therapy. I create a supportive, welcoming space where your child can feel comfortable sharing at their own pace.

We’ll talk about current concerns at home, school, and in daily life, as well as any relevant history that may help guide treatment. I also spend time with parents or caregivers to understand their perspective, answer questions, and discuss goals for therapy.

By the end of the first session, we will begin identifying next steps and creating a plan tailored to your child’s needs, so you leave with clarity and a sense of direction moving forward.
