Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I currently work with adults on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and grief and loss. Or maybe you are having trouble adjusting to life's issues or you're not really sure what's going on, we can work on that too. I'm available for evening and weekend appointments! I have worked with clients in a variety of settings which include private practice, school-based programs, community mental health, and inpatient psychiatric. Whether this is your first time, or you have been in therapy before, my goal is to help you to feel heard and understood in a safe and welcoming space.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is not a one-style or one-approach fits all. The therapy experience needs to be and will be tailored to you and your life story. My therapy style is open-minded, warm, curious, and flexible. I use a combination of evidence-based treatment modalities paired with genuineness, kindness, compassion, and a sense of humor. Everyone has a unique story, and I am here to honor it and help you to find growth in the narrative.

What you can expect from me

For each of my clients’ first sessions and beyond, I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist needs to be a good fit. I work from a client-centered perspective in a collaborative relationship where you are the expert in your life. You have the ability to grow and heal, and I am here to support you with respect and understanding. My purpose is to guide, support, and utilize helpful challenges to help you to implement worthwhile changes in your life.
