Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dawn! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, talking openly about what’s on your mind, and getting support for the things that matter most to you. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I’m here to encourage you, help you work through challenges, and empower you as you move toward your goals. My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and has been a source of strength throughout challenging seasons in my own life. I welcome the opportunity to incorporate faith into therapy for clients who desire it, while always respecting what feels meaningful and comfortable for you. Wherever you are starting from, I want to understand how I can best support you.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-led, collaborative approach to therapy. You set the pace and bring what feels most important to you, and together we’ll explore challenges, identify your strengths, and problem-solve when you’re feeling stuck. I want our sessions to be a place where you feel comfortable talking openly, but also leave feeling encouraged and empowered to take meaningful steps toward the goals that matter to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore what you hope to gain from our work together, discuss your goals and priorities, and talk through any questions you have about the therapy process. Most importantly, I want to understand what support looks like for you so we can begin building a path forward together.
