Great to meet you!

Dawn Klug is a kind and compassionate Christian and a Board‐Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner qualified to diagnose, treat, provide psychotherapy, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical specialties include depression, anxiety and panic disorders, trauma, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and insomnia. She also has extensive experience working with foster children, is trained in play therapy, and provides supportive, practical parenting guidance for families navigating complex emotional and behavioral needs.

In addition to evidence‐based psychiatric care, Dawn offers biblical counseling for those seeking faith‐rooted support, integrating Scripture, grace, and spiritual encouragement into the healing process.

Dawn walks alongside each person with empathy, faith, and steady encouragement—serving as your partner in creating meaningful, sustainable life change.

My approach to therapy

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner trained in both medication management and psychotherapy, I practice in the spirit of the “old days” of psychiatry—when healing the mind and soul were never separated, and when compassionate presence mattered as much as clinical skill. My calling is to walk with you through life’s messiness, hurdles, and heartbreaks with a blend of evidence‐based care and faith‐rooted encouragement.

What you can expect from me

Dawn’s approach to psychiatry is truly unique and deeply rooted in her belief in the importance of biblical principles. YES—hope abounds. Do you believe that hope can rise again, that change is possible, and that your story can be rewritten with grace? If so, you’ve found the right partner for this journey. And even if your hope feels faint, your faith feels fragile, or you’re longing simply to feel loved and understood, we can take this walk together. You don’t have to rise alone.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” — Isaiah 40:31
