I am passionate about working with folx who have been feeling overwhelmed by life and may need a safe space to learn strategies to manage it all, and process the difficult things they've been through. I specialize in working with neurodivergent populations and with helping folx figure out what has helped them get this far and shed what is keeping them from getting to where they want to be.
I enjoy taking a direct, but warm approach with folx. Many appreciate my ability to be loving and supportive, but willingness to call it like it is, too. I use a combination of DBT and Attachment Focused EMDR to help clients gain a sense of stability and process the things that threw them off center in the first place.
My clients come to understand their strengths in a new light, seeing that they already have a lot of quality skills needed. They also learn some new techniques and strategies to replace any old behaviors with that may be holding them back in life. Additionally, they're able to identify and process faulty belief systems that interfere with living a happy, fulfilled life that they once imagined having.
