Great to meet you!

I’m a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Spokane, Washington, where I provide psychiatric/mental health medication management, counseling, therapy, and comprehensive psychiatric assessment and care. I earned my Board Certification as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in September 2018 and began my career at Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH), serving as the prescriber for the Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) and providing outpatient medication management. I continue to support FBH by covering after-hours call services. After my time with FBH, I joined Northwest Neurological, PLLC, where I expanded my practice providing psychiatric services. I am passionate about finding solutions for and caring for people using individualized psychiatric care to help patients achieve lasting improvement. I also enjoy mentoring the next generation of psychiatric nurse practitioners and regularly precept PMHNP students from various universities. I serve as Adjunct Faculty at Gonzaga University. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I had the privilege of serving our Veterans as a Psychiatric Nurse at the Mann-Grandstaff Veterans Affairs Medical Center and continue to enjoy working with active duty military and veterans. I earned my BSN from Washington State University, my Master of Science in Nursing – Leadership and Management from Western Governors University, and my Masters of Science in Nursing – Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University. Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping, hiking, fishing, playing billiards or guitar, and practicing hot yoga. Specialties: Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Treatment Resistant Depression, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, OCD, Trauma-Informed care, Psychiatry, Mental Health.

My approach to therapy

I practice from a trauma-informed, patient-centered perspective, recognizing that mental health symptoms often exist within complex life contexts. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. Treatment is tailored, evidence-based, and adjusted over time as patients’ needs evolve.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping will improve. I’ll ask questions about your symptoms, history, and current challenges, and we’ll talk through treatment options together. My goal is to create a comfortable, respectful space and begin developing a plan that feels thoughtful, realistic, and aligned with your needs.
