Great to meet you!

Hello, Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a LICSW therapist with a holistic approach to optimizing positive mental health. I graduated with my MSW from BU and have an extensive background in natural systems which I apply to my therapeutic approach. I specialize in trauma informed care, depression and anxiety treatment, inclusive positive identity development, attachment based theory for healthy relationships and mind body connection.

My approach to therapy

I work from a strengths based perspective meeting the client where they are at. I specialize in energy psychology which includes tapping to process trauma and regulate the body's autonomic nervous system. I use many cognitive behavioral therapy tools to help optimize positive relationships and effective communication. Attachment theory is a foundation in my therapeutic approach to help the client build healing connections.

What you can expect from me

In session, creating a safe environment is the first priority. The client chooses the focus for each session. This may include immediate interventions such as reducing anxiety symptoms or long term interventions aimed at shifting life time schemas. Processing events, emotions and narratives are a regular component of the talk therapy. I work toward supporting the client's self-determination in completing their goals.
