Great to meet you!

I’m a LCSW who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting in a beige room talking in “therapy voice.” I work with ages 12 through adulthood, meeting people wherever they are—emotionally, mentally, and sometimes just “barely holding it together on a Tuesday.” My approach is trauma-focused, with a strong emphasis on anxiety, religious trauma, depression, PTSD and I’m deeply committed to creating affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to show up fully, safely, and without having to explain themselves.

I am advanced trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process distressing memories, negative beliefs, and emotional triggers so they no longer have the same hold on you. Many clients find relief from trauma, anxiety, grief, and other challenges in one session, in 60 minutes. You don't have to stay stuck in the pain of your past. You owe it to yourself.

Therapy with me isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress, honesty, and rediscovering your ability to thrive. And from time to time, my Boston Terrier, Paisley, may join us—offering her own unique blend of comfort, warmth, and comic relief.

If you are ready for a challenge, some laughter and quirkiness I encourage you to reach out. I can promise you I won't be like your last therapist or what you view of therapy! (It had always been my quest to remove the stereotype of therapy !)

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, I’ll always meet you where you are—sometimes with a little humor to ease the process, because let’s face it, therapy can feel intimidating at first. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, gently explore challenges, and work toward reducing the barriers that hold you back. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can rise, grow, and heal—empowered to embrace resilience and inspired to create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other, talk through your goals, and explore what you hope to gain from therapy. This is your space to share, ask questions, and set the pace. My priority is to create an environment where you feel safe, supported, and able to see the path toward healing and change. Along the way, I’ll be your guide, encourager, and biggest cheerleader as we work together toward the life you want to build.
