Great to meet you!

I work with adult women navigating life transitions, relationship and family concerns, young adulthood, career changes, motherhood, grief, military life, perimenopause, menopause, and aging. As a mother of five and a military spouse for 22 years, I understand how changing roles and responsibilities can affect your well-being. I offer a warm, practical, and supportive space where you can feel heard, better understand what you are experiencing, and begin moving toward greater peace, confidence, contentment, and purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on the whole person. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, strengths-based approaches, positive psychology, and holistic counseling. Together, we may explore your thoughts, behaviors, emotions, relationships, physical health, environment, and values to understand the patterns affecting your life. I will help you process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, establish healthier boundaries, and take realistic steps toward meaningful change. Christian counseling can also be incorporated when desired.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will provide time for you to share what brought you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you would like to change. We will explore the different areas of your life that contribute to who you are, identify your most pressing needs, and discuss goals for counseling. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and decide whether I am a comfortable fit for you. You do not need to explain everything at once; we will begin at a pace that feels manageable and develop a practical, individualized plan for moving forward.
