Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Dawn and I am a licensed professional counselor holding dual licenses in the state of South Carolina where I currently reside, and my native New York state. In practice since 2017, I provide a warm, compassionate and client-centered approach to the therapeutic process. I serve as a co-collaborator providing support, insight, and assistance on the client's journey of self-discovery and healing.

My approach to therapy

My experience is using an eclectic, personalized approach to therapy that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy modalities. My approach is especially well suited to adults 18+ experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or grief and loss.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect an inviting feel to the first session, whereby I put them at ease as we begin the process of identifying relevant factors to treatment. During the first session and beyond, clients can anticipate a comfortable working relationship.
