I am a License Professional Counselor and a Substance Abuse Counselor who has been practicing for over 27 years. I have vast experience in working with both mental health and addiction in a variety of settings. I like to work with my clients to help them improve their emotional health and relationships with others. I believe it is important to meet my client where they are in order to assist them in getting to where they want to be.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Substance Abuse Counselor, I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy to best match my client's preferred learning style. These include CBT, DBT skills, REBT, Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Care, and Reality Therapy.

I will help you gain insight and process your presenting problems and teach you healthy coping skills to manage your emotions, behaviors and thoughts using approaches that are tailored to you. I use a client centered approach to meet you where you are at and help you move to where you want to be.
