If you're carrying anxiety that won't quiet down, grief that hasn't had space to breathe, or the weight of holding your family together while losing yourself in the process, you're not alone. I've spent over 16 years working with adults and older adults, many walking into therapy for the first time after years of pushing through in silence. My clients describe me as warm, calm, and someone they can be honest with without feeling judged. Sessions available in English and Spanish. ¿Prefieres terapia en español? Bienvenida.
In session, I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strength-based work, but I adapt all of it to your culture, the language you think in, and what's actually happening in your life right now. Together we'll identify the patterns that no longer serve you (the inner critic that won't quit, the family dynamics that drain you) and build practical strategies you can use by Monday morning. My presence is calm, but the work is active. You won't be left circling in the same place.
The first session is about getting to know each other, not solving everything. We'll talk about what brought you here, what you've tried before, and what you want to be different. If you've never done therapy, I'll walk you through how it works and answer any questions. By the end of that first hour, you'll have a clear sense of how we'll work together, with no pressure and at your own pace.
