Great to meet you!

I’m an Army veteran and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is passionate about helping people feel understood, supported, and empowered. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from National Louis University in 2013 and my master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University, earning my LSW in 2024 and LCSW in 2025. My experience includes working with veterans, children, teens, young adults, couples, and families across the Department of Veterans Affairs, Volunteers of America Illinois, residential treatment, and dual-diagnosis settings. I support clients navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions, including individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be built around you, not a one-size-fits-all approach. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and judgment-free, with a focus on understanding your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I use approaches such as CBT, EMDR, and DBT, along with other evidence-based techniques, to help clients develop coping skills, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change. Above all, I want you to feel safe, respected, and comfortable being yourself.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I’ll listen to your concerns, learn about your goals, and answer any questions you may have. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or share more than you’re comfortable with. Together, we’ll begin building a plan that feels right for you and supports your personal growth and healing.
