Great to meet you!

I am warm, vibrant, consistent, and always therapeutic in the way I engage with others. I have overcome some of the most significant challenges of my life, including being displaced from my 11 brothers and sisters and from my parents. Those experiences shaped me, but they did not define me.

I am a man who has worked across a multitude of professional settings and gained wisdom through a wide range of life experiences. I am also a father who has raised two daughters who are now in college. These experiences have strengthened my resilience, perspective, and understanding of what it means to continue moving forward despite adversity.

The single most important aspect of who I am is that I have maintained a healthy sense of self. I strive to remain genuine, consistent, and authentic in how I show up in the world. My story is one of overcoming, growth, resilience, and remaining true to who I am.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, empathy, and the development of a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe the therapeutic relationship is an essential foundation for meaningful and sustainable change. I approach each client with genuine curiosity, respect, and understanding, while recognizing that effective therapy begins with meeting clients where they are and understanding their individual experiences, strengths, needs, and goals.

I view therapy as a collaborative process in which the client and therapist work together to develop greater insight, identify patterns that may be contributing to emotional or behavioral difficulties, and develop healthier and more effective ways of navigating life’s challenges. I strive to create a therapeutic environment in which clients feel heard, understood, respected, and supported while also being appropriately challenged to explore areas that may be limiting their growth.

My goal is to help clients strengthen their sense of self, develop greater emotional awareness, and build the confidence and skills necessary to make meaningful changes.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect to feel heard, understood, and genuinely validated. You will meet a therapist who recognizes the complexity of the human experience and respects the struggles, limitations, and challenges that each of us encounter throughout life.

I believe meaningful therapy begins with connection. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship in which you feel comfortable being yourself and discussing your experiences openly, without fear of judgment. I bring warmth, empathy, and authenticity into the therapeutic space, allowing connection to develop naturally rather than forcing it.
