Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed creative arts therapist and a board-certified music therapist with advanced training in the treatment of complex trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I'm part of a therapeutic movement that questions the way our culture pathologizes the self. I believe what gets diagnosed as mental illness is often understood better as an adaptation to adversity that's no longer helpful. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches––including AEDP, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, music therapy, and more––to connect people to their innate resources.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal in therapy is to help you engage your creative self. To help quiet your thinking brain and to have a direct experience of your feelings. Change in therapy happens by exploring what's going on below the neck.
