Great to meet you!

I'm Dean, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona with years of clinical experience across mental health, substance use, and behavioral health. I'm based near Sedona and offer telehealth sessions, making it easy to connect from wherever you are in the state. I'm currently welcoming new clients who are ready to start working toward their mental health goals in a flexible, low-pressure setting.

My approach to therapy

My background is rooted in practical, evidence-based care — I've spent years working in structured clinical environments where outcomes matter. I bring that same intentionality into my private practice work, while creating space for the deeper, individualized conversation that helps people feel genuinely understood. I believe therapy works best when it's shaped around you — your goals, your pace, and your life.

What you can expect from me

I like to start with a brief introductory call — just 10 to 15 minutes — so we can get a feel for each other before committing to anything. If it feels like a good fit, our first full session will be a relaxed conversation where I invite you to share what's bringing you in and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. There's no pressure — we go at whatever pace feels right for you.
