Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m De’Andra Oliver. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), CSAC-Supervisee, and Sex Offender Treatment Provider-Trainee (SOTP-T), and I love helping people and families work through tough times and find their strengths. I’ve spent over 15 years in mental health, so I’ve seen a lot and learned that everyone’s story is unique. I studied at Liberty University for my bachelor’s and got my master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Longwood University.
I work with all kinds of folks—kids, teens, adults, military families, people who are incarcerated or involved in the justice system, and members of the LGBTQ community. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate life during and after cancer. I’m passionate about supporting women through their breast cancer journey and helping them find hope and strength in survivorship.
I’m certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and use a strengths-based approach, which means I focus on what’s going right and help you build on that. I’m a Virginia Court-approved co-parenting educator for the Two Parents, Two Homes course and run SMART Recovery groups, so I’m all about supporting people in different ways.
As a CSAC-Supervisee and SOTP-T, I’m constantly learning and training to make sure I give the best care possible, especially in substance abuse and sex offender treatment. My goal is to make therapy a safe, welcoming space where you can grow, heal, and make positive changes that stick.
