Great to meet you!

Life can get heavy sometimes, and it helps to have a space where you can take off the pressure and just be real. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are managing stress, anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, sadness, or simply want someone to talk to. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported as we make sense of what’s going on and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.

I also enjoy working with athletes who face unique pressures on and off the field. Whether you’re navigating performance stress, burnout, or transitions, I understand the drive to succeed and the importance of finding balance and purpose along the way. You don’t have to have it all figured out; therapy is a place to slow down, reset, and build the tools to feel more grounded and confident.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying patterns of thought and behavior that influence one's feelings. However, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, integrating other techniques when helpful. My goal is to empower you to navigate challenges with self-awareness, compassion, and practical tools that support long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and relaxed conversation focused on getting to know you, your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from it. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and the challenges you’re facing, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. This time is about creating a safe space where you can feel heard and supported.

We’ll also talk about what therapy might look like moving forward, including your goals and preferences for how we work together. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to leave feeling a sense of clarity, relief, and hope that things can start to move in a positive direction.
