Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to adults with a wide range of mental health concerns—from everyday stress, anxiety, and depression to more complex psychiatric conditions. I work with clients at different stages of their mental health journey and tailor treatment to meet each person’s unique needs and goals.

My professional background includes experience across diverse clinical settings, allowing me to support individuals with many diagnoses while maintaining a calm, thoughtful, and collaborative approach to care. I focus on medication management, patient education, and shared decision-making so clients feel informed and empowered throughout treatment.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from California State University, Long Beach, a Master of Science in Clinical Nurse Leadership from California State University, Dominguez Hills, a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University, and a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg.

My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported as they work toward improved mental health and quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to psychiatric care, recognizing the important connection between mental health, physical health, lifestyle, and overall well-being. In addition to medication management when appropriate, I integrate principles of mental health–focused nutrition and mindfulness to support whole-person care.

I am a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist and have completed additional continuing education in mindfulness-based approaches. These perspectives allow me to help clients explore how factors such as nutrition, stress, sleep, and daily habits can influence mood and mental health, while always grounding treatment in clinical best practices.

I work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and preferences, with the aim of supporting sustainable improvement and long-term mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a supportive, calm, and non-judgmental environment where they feel heard and respected. We will spend time reviewing your concerns, mental health history, current symptoms, and overall well-being, including factors such as stress, sleep, lifestyle, and nutrition that may be impacting your mental health.

Together, we will discuss your goals for treatment and begin developing an individualized plan that may include medication management, education, and holistic strategies such as mindfulness-based approaches when appropriate. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling informed, supported, and clear about next steps in their care.

I value collaboration and shared decision-making, and I work at a pace that feels comfortable while focusing on practical, sustainable steps toward improved mental health and quality of life.
