I am a mindful trauma therapist who integrates yoga therapy to support healing by helping clients reconnect with their bodies, improve regulation, and restore balance. I believe that lasting healing happens when the mind and body work together.
I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for regulating emotions, tolerating distress, improving relationships, and building a life worth living.
As a trauma therapist, I help clients understand how early attachment experiences and recurring patterns influence their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. By increasing awareness of these patterns, clients can make meaningful changes that support healthier ways of living and connecting with others.
Yoga therapy complements this work by encouraging mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and a calmer, more grounded lifestyle. Through movement, breathwork, and body awareness, clients learn to use their bodies as a resource for managing stress and supporting overall well-being. While these practices can enhance physical and emotional health and may reduce reliance on some interventions for certain individuals, they are not intended to replace prescribed medications. Any decisions about medication should be made in consultation with a qualified medical provider.
