My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client centered. I believe that each person is the expert on their own life, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly.

I work to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and authenticity. Together, we identify goals, develop practical coping strategies, and address the patterns that may be preventing growth or well-being. I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

Whether a client is struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, trauma, or self-esteem concerns, I focus on helping them recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping skills, and feel empowered to move forward. My goal is to help clients not only manage current difficulties but also build the tools and confidence needed for long-term emotional wellness and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they can begin sharing their story at a pace that feels comfortable. The initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brought them to therapy, and explore their goals, concerns, and expectations for treatment.

We will review relevant background information, including current challenges, personal history, relationships, and any previous experiences with therapy. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and share what they hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

The first session is also a time for us to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect. Together, we will identify priorities and develop an initial plan that supports the client's unique needs and goals. My aim is for clients to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forwa
