Great to meet you!

Greetings! I am Deanna Casper a licensed mental health counselor. It can be difficult to admit you need help and there should be no shame for doing so. I specialize in helping adults who struggle with addiction, trauma, and mood disorders. I also like to help people improve their self-confidence and self-esteem which may be a result of these maladaptive behaviors. I use a variety of modalities and methods however, ultimately, therapy boils down to the rapport I have with you.

My approach to therapy

I believe that everyone is capable of change. My job is not to change you but to guide you to change yourself. You are the expert on yourself not me. This is why I believe that therapy must be a collaborative experience.

What you can expect from me

For the first session, you are welcome to open up as little or as much as you want. I know therapy can be scary so no need to feel like you have to share everything right away. Even though I like having an income (lol), my ultimate goal is that you don't thearpy anymore. This means working together to create realistic goals and benchmarks for your recovery.
