Deanna Minor

I graduated nursing school in 1999 and went on to get my master's with focus on Psychiatric NP in 2015. I have had the pleasure of being in the Air Force and the Army. I was an integral part of standing up the inpatient unit at Ft. Carson Colorado. I had my own practice in Colorado from 2020 to 2023, at which time I moved to a state that did not have independent practice. I have worked both inpatient, outpatient, and have done telehealth for a multitude of mental health issues. I specialize in bipolar and depression.

I work best by finding out what works best for the patient, meaning, I am trained and licensed for medication management, but it is not always about medications. I take a holistic approach to treatment.

The initial visit includes an extensive interview to determine what it needed. Medications, therapy, both or other potential interventions. Finding out what has been tried before, whether successful or not, is important. Patient input is valued.
