Deanna Ramirez

My name is Deanna Ramirez and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I want you to know that I see you. I hear you. I help people grow through the uneasy transitions, the uncomfortable feelings, and the challenging emotional storms that we go through as we journey through life. I work with children, teens, and adults in many areas but my specialty is in navigating issues with identity, dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and emotional regulation, so they feel more connected and whole.

I help people through some tough life transitions as well as understand the emotions that come with them. I believe we all deserve to feel fulfilled and satisfied with our lives and I think the way to do that is through focusing on you as a "whole," leveraging your strengths while processing pain, rather than just on achieving goals or working on problems.

I am here for all ages, races, and cultures and I especially understand the challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. In my free time, I love being outside, reading, gardening, and hanging out with my family. I live with my wife and daughter and our 5 dogs in Humble, TX. All we can do is try. Reaching out is the first and sometimes most important step.
