Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, energetic, and optimistic therapist who believes that therapy should be a safe space where you can be your authentic self, without judgement. I bring warmth, humor, encouragement, and an empowering approach to every session. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, help you recognize your strengths, and support you in creating meaningful change.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Social Work, with more than 6 years of experience working in psychiatric settings and providing therapy. My clinical experience has allowed me to support individuals and families navigating a wide range of emotional and life challenges.

I work with children and adolescents experiencing emotional, social, academic, and family challenges; individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and major life adjustments; and women experiencing stress, burnout, identity concerns and life transitions. I also provide caregiver support and work with families seeking healthier boundaries, stronger communication, and greater understanding of one another. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating experiences related to teen pregnancy and the challenges that can accompany major life transitions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you, understanding what brought you to therapy, and creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. We will talk about your current concerns, experiences, goals, and what you hope to get out of therapy.

You don't need to have the "right" words or know exactly where to start. We will figure it out together. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and judgement free, with a little of humor along the way, when appropriate. I want you to feel heard, respected, and hopeful about the possibility of positive change.
