Debbie Chisolm

My name is Debbie Chisolm. I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker, A Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Chemical Addiction Counselor. I have a Masters in Social work and a Masters in Counseling. I have over 30 years experience working with a diverse population and have provided therapy and treatment to them who experience issues with mental health, substance abuse, autism, developmental disorders, legal, trauma, and other personal issues.

My practice helps each individual to be able to cope with their daily life stressors, mental health, substance abuse struggles, trauma, relationships, and any other issues he/ she is dealing with that is impeding wellness. The goal is always the clients self stated goal and my goal is to help transition you towards that goal and to a wellness and recovery. I truly believe that we all move back in forth from precontemplation to the action stage as we all fall and get back up.

In session you are able to be yourself, discuss your issues with the absence of bias, and being judged. Your voice will be heard and ask as many questions as possible you want. Most importantly, you will work on your goals with me teaching you the steps needed to achieve them. In session I will use an array of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Psychotherapy, Psychoeducation, Motivational Interviewing, Wellness and Recovery Model, etc.
