Debbie Mancillas

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults in various capacities. I am a native Californian and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology with a minor in Victimology, and a Masters of Social Work degree with an emphasis on family and children. I enjoy reading, hiking,watching sports, and spending time with my family and pets. I particularly focus on various types of anxiety, adjustment, depression, and life coaching.

I have a very casual approach to therapy as I view it as a conversation with a purpose. I feel that my positivity, compassion and energy can help provide a safe place to share your thoughts. I work from a solution centered, strength based and cognitive behavioral approach.

As a social worker I feel it is important to empower the client and make them part of the team, since they are the experts on their own life. My client can expect to be heard and valued throughout the entire process.
